NCC/NGO 50k Topographic Maps of Iran

NCC/NGO 50k Topographic Maps of Iran is a digital collection of topographic map sheets covering Iran at a scale of 1:50,000, published in Tehran between 1991 and 2011 A.D. A total of 2,663 sheets are available, comprising 2,142 sheets produced by Sāzmān-i Naqshahʹbardārī-i Kishvar (NCC), the National Cartographic Center of Iran, and 521 sheets produced by the National Geographical Organization (NGO). The maps provide detailed topographic coverage and depict physical and geographical features including terrain, settlements, roads and transport routes, hydrography and other mapped features. Designed for reference and research use, the collection is particularly useful for scholars working in Iranian studies, geography, history, environmental studies, regional planning and related disciplines. The maps are supplied in Raster PDF format for convenient consultation, comparison and archival research. Individual sheets are also available separately.
